Behind the Lens

Hi, I’m Kaitlyn! I’m a 30-year-old teacher who finds so much joy in making a difference in the classroom and helping my students grow. Teaching keeps me grounded, creative, and constantly inspired by the people around me.

When I’m not in the classroom, you’ll usually find me behind my camera. Photography has been a longtime passion of mine-something that started with my mom, who showed me how special it is to capture moments and tell stories through images. Over the years, it’s become my favorite way to slow down, explore, and see the world with fresh eyes.

I love photographing real, candid moments-the laughter, the quiet in-betweens, and the little details that often go unnoticed. Through my photos, I hope to share not just what I see, but how I feel when I see it.
